I used to have a link to a page that went to great technical length explaining how this is a light glare on the lense which creates a reflection of the aperture back onto the inside-center of the lense.   You can clearly see the light glare on the upper left and the aperture reflection in the center which is octagonal like the aperture.....

Also.  These cameras have to be wound up for the next exposure to be taken.  From what I understand, the camera was found in the wound position and ready for the next shot.  When the lab has to open the camera to retrieve the film for processing, the lab had to physically snap that wound shot before being able to open it up.

The very fact this is the last exposure in the series on the negatives lends credence to the above scenario being the case.

Were there military boot tracks found by the students around the outside of the tent ?

From everything I have ever read in the original case files and scene witness statements..... no.

Sir : Would agree with your post. Suspect their were some " other people " around the tent".
The students missed identifying
those tracks.
The prosecutor relies upon the "absence of tracks " around tent to create this incredible mystery...

General Discussion / New View of Krivonischenko's Frame No. 33 - In Bas Relief - Face
« Last post by KitKat on December 15, 2017, 02:45:08 PM »
I edited the Notorious Frame No. 33 from Krivonischenko's film and wondered if anyone else sees what I do. To me, it looks like he (or someone) was reaching for the camera and accidentally took the picture of themselves. It looks like a close-up, overexposed photo of someone's face with motion-blur... and the lighting source is coming from the bottom left side of the image, possibly from a flashlight in their tent?

I Photoshopped it in Bas Relief and did a crude outline to show the facial features, as well as hilighted the perfectly circular shape of the lighting "glow" around the image. Any thoughts?

Hopefully I uploaded the image correctly. If not, or if you need a larger version, go to this link: http://spiritlyric.com/DyatlovPicOutlined.jpg

Thanks,
Kathy

In short...  Not really.  Its all a hot mess.

There are a few case files here http://forum.dyatlov-pass.com/index.php?board=46.0 that are relevant to the subject, but alot of what is/isn't about the scenes are within the 'interrogations' of witnesses.  In others words, there are a bunch of interviews with people who were on the scene first etc that I have not posted in the case files section of this board yet.    The information on the scenes is literally spread out all over the place.

Hello: New to this incident... Not knew to outdoors... hunting, tracking.
Understand first search party to arrive at the scene were volunteers...
Very curious.... Did they report any tracks, anything above the tents...???? In their report and statements do they actually state
there are NO Tracks, nothing unusual on the other side of tents. Thanks.

I cant read any of that, but from what I see.....  A member of the team would have had a modern digital SLR camera in order to take rapid fire pics like that.  It also suggests the creator of this theory somehow knows the angle, location, and direction said photos were taken.

Where are these photos?    Because if this is supposed to be in reference to the Sasha camera photos.....  They are negatives.  This means the white blotches are black when developed and the 'sky' would be white.   How does that happen in the middle of the night?
